2026 Spring Craft Fair

Today was our community center's Spring Craft Fair.

As I had missed the last craft fair in Autumn...

I was hoping to catch two of the artists I had seen last year during the Spring Craft Fair.

This year...

there were not so many vendors.

I looked for the two vendors I had wanted to buy some art from...

but they were not there this year.

I had talked to some of the other vendors...

and some said that they knew of the vendors I was enquiring about...

and they said they were there in Autumn...

and would most likely be there again next Autumn.

I will be sure not to miss next Autumn's Craft Fair.

I had bought a bag of freeze dried liver doggie treats 

from a lady who also sold many other items.

She makes her own lotions...

and elixirs as well.

This lady made the below, and other quilts, just using her sewing machine.

Had she had a landscape quilt with bears on it...

I would have bought one.

This lady is quite talented.

I was disappointed the two artists I had wanted to buy from were not there this year...

but...

it was still fun seeing all of the other crafts.

There was a food truck outside...

and I bought a sandwich to eat.

I had bought this sandwich.

It was tasty...

but it was a mere appetizer for me.

I will have to make something later on tonight to eat.

After eating...

I just relaxed in my chair and looked around at the scenery.

Today was just a mellow day for me.

My elder sister and her husband are planning on visiting me 

late next month.

I am looking forward to their arrival.

We are supposed to get some more light snow later next week...

as well as some thunder showers.

I was planning on doing more deck work...

but that will have to wait until the weather warms a bit more.

Tonight...

I am just going to relax in bed and watch some of my favorite shows (reruns)...

and then get to sleep early.

I will probably go shopping tomorrow

(I will stock up on loads of beef)...

and if I get the urge...

I will stop off at Peak View to try their Pho.

Well, to be honest...

I already have the urge.

I loved their BBQ Brisket Spring Rolls...

so I will definitely get more.

I am also hoping to be served excellent Pho there.

If so...

it will be my go to place for Pho from now on.
