I have a special guest at my home right now.
She is staying for just under two weeks.
This morning...
I got up and made some coffee...
and I then ate a breakfast of...
peppered smoked salmon...
flour tortillas with red pepper hummus...
and some coffee.
My guest and I then took some pictures on the deck with Bandi...
and then took some inside shots as well.
We are having a heat wave right now.
It is in the mid to upper 60 degrees...
but, it made it perfect weather to walk around bare footed...
and in just sweat pants and a T-shirt.
I am just enjoying the view from the second deck with Bandi.
Bandi loves having the run of the house.
There are numerous places for her to rest...
or to enjoy the scenery.

This piece of decorative art is of an old fashion gold mine bucket and pulley system.
My guest took Bandi on a short walk around the neighborhood.
While I was on the computer in the loft...
my guest took pictures of Bandi on the bed my guest is sleeping on in the loft.
Bandi sleeps with me on my bed in my room...
so she is comfortable climbing on any bed in the home...
and claiming it for her own. :)
Bandi comfortably stretched out on the bed...
and I am in the distance on the computer.
I still have to set up the IR spa in the loft...
but that can come later.
In a few hours...
my guest, Bandi, and I are going to drive through a famous park...
and we are then going to eat at a Thai restaurant.
Almost each night...
we are going to try a different ethnic restaurant.
We've already had Greek and Japanese.
We are going to try a Nepalese restaurant tomorrow...
and we will then try Mexican, another Japanese restaurant...
A Chinese restaurant...
and any others which strike our fancy at that time.
Walking in the neighborhood sounds wonderful, especially with fall colors and warm weather. I am surprised that there is Nepalese food there. Sounds like the variety of food there is fantadtic
ReplyDeleteThere a whole variety of restaurants in Colorado Springs...although there are some nice ones in some nearby towns as well.

Yes, this area of Colorado has many a sunny day. We are going to another Thai place tomorrow. There is also a nearby waterfall we are going to visit.
