My First Time Cooking Breakfast At Home

Song:  White Bird

Group:  It's a Beautiful Day

Yesterday was the first time I had used my stove to make a meal for myself...
at my new home.

Of course...
there was nothing special about this simple meal.

I just warmed up some roast beef hash...
and grilled half a dozen eggs
(I gave Bandi almost half of my meal).

I usually eat near the window...
as this seat position stays out of the morning sun.

My guest normally doesn't eat breakfast...
but Bandi always awaits patiently...
her portion of any meal I eat.

She knows I always share my meals with her.

Last night...
my guest took some photos of the sun as it set.

It looked as if we were to have some rain last night...
but...no.

I was hoping to get a free carwash.  :)

My guest is going to take Bandi on a morning walk...

and we will then go to a casino in the nearby town.

I ordered more glass food containers.

I had ordered one to make Rocky Red Hots (turnip / red pepper pickles)...

and another one in which to ferment garlic in honey

(mellows flavor - greatly enhances the healthful effects...

to eat raw or for cooking).

  1. Beautiful post. It is the little things in life that make it so rich. Growing and aging well in this environment will give you creative energy and joy! Your camera shy guest is probably marveling at the change in your disposition since moving there. Being at peace enables you to benefit on a spiritual level that you don’t even consciously realize. But, the cumulative effects are always miraculous

    1. Yes, she did notice my changed disposition...more mellow...most of the time.

  2. Nice corner spot for eating breakfast... near the window. Bandi must look forward to your meals! :) I like the photo of the sunset with the dark trees and clouds set against the bright sunset.

    1. Yes, Bandi is acutely aware of when I begin cooking. Yes, from the third deck...the sunsets are very beautiful.
